چکیده

Present review article describes use of radiation and radionuclides on cancer cell therapeutics. It also sketches out cumulative effects exposure received by the patients during diagnostics. Though, in therapeutics a selected permissible dose is provided several cycles to ablate neoplastic cells improve condition patient, but harms surrounding imparts negative biology cells. Ionizing (IR) promotes death through cytotoxicity. This emphasizes both remedial biological radio-resistance suggests safe radionucleides encapsulating them nanomaterials so as it alternate chemotherapy destroy various types enhance survival normal explains effect ionizing non-ionizing cellular metabolism genetics.

An Investigation of the Effects of Raw Garlic on Radiation-induced Bystander Effects in MCF7 Cells

Introduction Radiation-induced bystander effect (RIBE) is a phenomenon in which radiation signals are transmitted from irradiated cells to non-irradiated ones, inducing radiation effects in these cells. RIBE plays an effective role in radiation response at environmentally relevant low doses and in radiotherapy, given its impact on adjacent normal tissues or those far from the irradiated tumor. ...

Radiation-induced tumor neoantigens: imaging and therapeutic implications.

Exposure of tumor cells to ionizing radiation (IR) is widely known to induce a number of cellular changes. One way that IR can affect tumor cells is through the development of neoantigens which are new molecules that tumor cells express at the cell membrane following some insult or change to the cell. There have been numerous reports in the literature of changes in both tumor and tumor vasculat...

Identification of novel therapeutic targets in the secretome of ionizing radiation‑induced senescent tumor cells.

Cellular senescence is a state of irreversible growth arrest that can be triggered by multiple mechanisms, including telomere shortening, the epigenetic derepression of the INK4α/ARF locus and DNA damage. Senescence has been considered a tumor‑suppressing mechanism that permanently arrests cells at risk for malignant transformation. However, accumulating evidence shows that senescent cells have...
